There are many college search programs. The programs listed below are the ones that the counselors have found most helpful. They allow the student to indicate (and think about) their criteria for choosing a college. Based on those criteria, they generate a list of possible schools. Such computer-generated lists are only a beginning point. Students then need to evaluate the lists, research some of the schools, visit with their counselor,
etc. (One of the most valuable contributions of doing these college search programs is that the questions the programs ask have students to think about which criteria really are important to them.
